In 2010, IML filed the first patent covering its proprietary behavioral matching technology. After an extensive 11-year review process—which included overcoming multiple patent office objections, the Supreme Court’s Alice decision, and examination by one of the most stringent patent examiners in the U.S. Patent Office (ranked in the 96th percentile for difficulty)—the patent was successfully granted.

Since then, three additional patents have been awarded, establishing a robust family of patents that protects the groundbreaking technologies pioneered by IML.
